A closer look at one of the leaping fish.
My leaping fish are fitted with a socket under their centre of gravity, so that they can be mounted on a stainless steel rod (provided). They can be fixed in one position, or left loose so that the wind can turn them.
Although seen here over water at the edge of a lake, there are many other possibilities: I have envisioned them leaping above a ‘sea’ of ornamental grasses. Notice also the shadows on the shore beneath them, which move with the ripples of the water. They are each about 60cm in length. Odd numbers work best.
