My first dancing hare was created for a commission, from someone who had observed how a hare can appear to change direction in mid-leap and wanted to know if this could be captured in a sculpture. I’m still exploring! They are wonderful, and very strange, animals. In addition to these combative ‘mad March’ hares, I have one who is just loping along.

Hares are life-size, 110cm tall to the ear-tips, £925 each.
