My mother badger and cub were a particular joy to make. I often spot badgers along the roads around Walmer, and they are a favourite animal of mine, surviving as they do into our modern world where there is not much room for larger wildlife. Deer, badgers and hares are about all we have left, bigger than rabbits or squirrels.

The contrast of bright and dark copper suits their markings well. Life-size.
