My two sizes of daffodil are seen here (100cm and 65cm). The large one is bigger than it might seem at first glance – the real daffodils seen behind are normal full-size, not miniatures. It is not possible to get the daffodil’s bright clear yellow, but copper will, if you are very precise with the heat, achieve a yellow-green-gold which serves well enough, and which is then lacquered so the colour will not change with age.
